By booking and using Bossy Studios, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these carefully before confirming your booking.
1. Bookings & Payment
Studio hire prices vary depending on the length, time and type of booking selected.
The price applicable to your session will be clearly displayed at the time of booking.
Full payment is required to secure your booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been successfully received and you have received your booking confirmation.
Any promotional, discounted or complimentary bookings, including early-access sessions, are also subject to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Your Booking Time
Your booking begins and ends at the times stated on your booking confirmation.
Your booked time includes any set-up, preparation, filming, photography, changing of outfits and packing away.
For example, if your booking is from 10:00am to 11:00am, the studio must be vacated by 11:00am.
Please arrive at your scheduled booking time. Early access cannot be guaranteed, and late arrival will not extend your booking duration.
If you require additional time and the studio is available, extra time may be purchased at the applicable rate. Where a session overruns without prior agreement, Bossy Studios reserves the right to charge for the additional studio time.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled booking are non-refundable.
Requests to reschedule within 48 hours will be considered at the discretion of Bossy Studios and cannot be guaranteed. Failure to attend a booking without notice will be treated as a cancellation and no refund will be provided.
Where Bossy Studios needs to cancel a booking due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund of the studio hire fee paid.
4. Complimentary & Promotional Sessions
Complimentary or promotional studio sessions have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for a refund.
All standard studio rules, damage responsibilities and these Terms & Conditions continue to apply to complimentary bookings.
5. Studio Use
Bossy Studios is a creative space intended for content creation, photography, videography, podcasting and other agreed creative activities.
The person making the booking is responsible for the behaviour of everyone attending as part of their booking.
Furniture and movable props may be repositioned where appropriate but must be returned to their original positions at the end of the session. Please do not drag furniture or equipment across flooring or walls.
Activities that could reasonably cause staining or damage must be agreed with Bossy Studios in advance. This includes glitter, confetti, paint, smoke effects, candles or naked flames, fake tan, body oils, adhesives, messy materials or anything else that could damage the studio or furnishings.
Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the studio.
6. Damage & Breakages
The person making the booking is responsible for any damage caused to the studio, furniture, equipment, props or other property by themselves or anyone attending as part of their booking.
Normal wear and tear is expected, and any damage or breakage should be reported to Bossy Studios as soon as possible.
Where damage occurs beyond reasonable wear and tear, Bossy Studios reserves the right to recover the reasonable cost of repair, professional cleaning or replacement from the person who made the booking.
7. Cleaning
Please leave the studio in the condition in which you found it.
All rubbish and personal belongings should be removed or placed in the appropriate bins, and furniture and props should be returned to their original positions. Where excessive cleaning is required following a booking, an additional reasonable cleaning charge may apply.
8. Children
Children are welcome where appropriate for the booked activity, but must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Bossy Studios does not provide childcare or supervision, and the person making the booking remains responsible for any children attending their session.
9. Personal Belongings & Equipment
Clients are responsible for their own personal belongings and equipment while using the studio. Bossy Studios cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
10. Content & Technical Issues
Clients are responsible for checking their own cameras, phones, microphones, memory cards, batteries and other equipment before and during their session.
Where Bossy Studios provides equipment for use, please follow any instructions provided and report any problems immediately.
Bossy Studios cannot guarantee the outcome or quality of content created during a self-hire session and is not responsible for lost footage, corrupted files, device failure or other technical issues relating to a client's own equipment.
11. Health & Safety
All visitors must use the studio responsibly and follow any reasonable safety instructions provided by Bossy Studios. Please report any accident, damage, hazard or equipment issue immediately.
Bossy Studios reserves the right to stop a session where we reasonably believe an activity is unsafe, unlawful, damaging to the premises or significantly disruptive.
12. Responsibility for Guests
The person who makes the booking is considered the lead hirer and is responsible for ensuring that everyone attending their session follows these Terms & Conditions. This includes photographers, videographers, models, clients, colleagues, children and other guests.
13. Photography & Privacy
Bossy Studios will not use photographs or video featuring clients or their guests for our own marketing without permission. If we would like to photograph or film your session for Bossy Studios' social media, website or promotional material, we will ask for permission first.
Clients are responsible for obtaining any permissions or consent required from people they photograph, film or record during their session.
14. Liability
Clients use the studio at their own risk and are responsible for carrying out their activities safely and appropriately. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Clients using the studio for commercial purposes are responsible for ensuring they hold any insurance appropriate to their own business activities.
15. Right to Refuse or End a Booking
Bossy Studios reserves the right to refuse or end a booking where these Terms & Conditions are seriously breached, where unsafe or unlawful activity is taking place, or where the studio, equipment or other people are being put at unreasonable risk. A refund may not be provided where a session is ended because of a serious breach.
16. Agreement
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Studio Hire Terms & Conditions. The person making the booking accepts responsibility for ensuring that everyone attending as part of their booking complies with them.
